ABOUT EXPLORERS RETREAT

Explorers Retreat is a family run Holiday home which sleeps up to 8 people. The cottage comprises of 4 Bedrooms (1 to the ground floor, 3 on the first floor). 1 ground floor shower room a first floor bathroom and free parking for 2 vehicles. We are tucked away in a quiet square in the heart of Whitby just off Skinner street, 10 minute walk to the Harbour and beach and only 2 minutes to Botham’s bakery which was established in 1865. We maintain and manage the Cottage to a high standard of cleanliness for your comfort and peace of mind, this helps if you need to contact us with any issues regarding your holiday before or during your stay.

COTTAGE LAYOUT

GROUND FLOOR

LOUNGE
Consists of 2 large sofas & a recliner chair with footstool. It has a smart TV, DVD, books and selection of games. A Coffee table and two lamps for cosy evenings.

BEDROOM ONE
Queen size Bed with a wall mounted Smart TV bedside tables with lamps a wardrobe and chest of draws.

SHOWER ROOM
A rainfall shower, toilet ,sink with mirrored wall cabinet, heated wall mounted towel radiator and shaving adaptor.

KITCHEN/DINING ROOM
Consists of fully equipped shaker style units, USB sockets, built in oven, ceramic hob & extractor, dishwasher, microwave, Krups coffee machine
Ironing board, iron and built-in fridge freezer and a large Dining table to seat 8 people comfortably.

FIRST FLOOR

BATHROOM
Modern shower bath with rainfall shower head, wash basin, mirror, toilet and heated towel radiator.

BEDROOM TWO
King size bed with wardrobe with built in drawers. Bedside drawers with lamps a dressing table and magnified mirror. Also, a hair dryer in top draw also folding table and club chair.

BEDROOM THREE
A comfortable double bed, bedside tables with lamps. A chest of drawers and wardrobe with mirrored doors.

BEDROOM FOUR
Twin beds with bedside drawers and lamp. Completed with a chest of drawers and wall wardrobe.
